bye bye crib

Hello big boy.

Today we took down the crib, and we are switching our boys from one room to another.

Since the two older ninjas sleep together anyway,

we have flipped the bunk to make a single bed,

and were getting them a full size to sleep in,

and baby ninja had his first night in his big boy bed.

{tear, sniffle}

So its a sad day, because this is my last baby, and he's getting oh so big . However, he went to bed so easy and just laid there till his little eye lids got heavy...

Hate running?

I used to till I started doing it every day at the gym. Now i'm running 5K's and I { love it }

I got a wild hair up my booty to do one this morning. So our friend/neighbor/husbands co-worker went together to do it since Hubbys not fond of running.

I finished 5th in my age group (24-29) at 26:33 with a 8:33 a mile pace, and 99th over all with 550+ participants. Im so proud of myself. I even scored a t-shirt even tho I registered last minute. Scooore!

**Only complaint I had about the race today is I wish they had more than one water station, because I used it to throw down my back because we are in the Texas heat after all.The last 5K I did was a mud run with some moms from my Meetup group and ran it in 32 minutes. So freaking fun!

best diet EVER

Have your husband deploy, with three kids and go to college full time.

After my third pregnancy leaving me at a large and in charge 166 lbs, I managed to lose it all, and then some during the deployment (62 lbs lost total< so proud!!) Unfortunately I gained 15 of it back after my husband returned from deployment.

heavy, VERY heavy sigh,

But I refuse to keep this extra BLAH weight. I'm down 4 lbs this week, and I WILL get at least 10 more off.

I am working out 4-5 days a week and running a LOT. I am also stoked to start this Core Fighting Academy June 13th. Its outdoor, kettle ball, sand bag, fighting, the works. Im so excited, I hope they really rip into me cause thats the motivation I need!

Oh and did I mention why the rush? Other than my jeans DO NOT FIT, ummm yeah were going to Cancun (Paraiso-Beach, to be specific) and I will have a bangin' body on that beach while I sip on Pina Coladas all day! Count down -----t.minus 47 days.

Leaps and Bounds

Finished I3Y today! (A 3 year old program for children who need extra assistance, such as speech, sensory disorders, autism...)

His last day, again. Because of his birthday he had to complete the 3 year old program again this year, even though he attended it last year. . He attends a Development center every day from 750-1050, and he has come leaps and bounds with his speech and learning! His articulation is getting *better* but we have a long way to go and years of speech therapy. He also in addition to school goes to speech once a week, and was going twice however this current gas rising $$ cha-ching $$ problem we had to only go once since its a bit of a drive.

And after 4 years, he finally agrees to eat- a few licks of ice cream. With his articulation disorder, mainly from his lack of muscle tone and scensitivity in his mouth his has never liked any soft or creamy food that he has to move around with his tounge- so this is a big step, that and pudding.

This boy is ubbber sweet, and I love him to pieces. Ah my sweet Candy Caine!

Just yesterday...

I was going into labor and now i'm watching him celebrate his last day of Kindergarden. Bittersweet. Ugh, i's such a proud mom. I never want to miss a moment of their lives, first time doing something, school events, anything. I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom and be there for all these moments, I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Today Reese celebrated his last day in Kinder with an ice cream party. His teacher is an angel and we couldn't have been given a better teacher to start out. I bet she totally loved the cute Coach Wristlet I got her as an end of the year gift. Nice right? She totally earned it. And she sent me home with a card and gift card for being room mom. {super sweet}

Here's to praying for an amazing First grade teacher!!
